Couldn't I just build this myself with Claude or v0?
Yeah, technically. If you know how to wire up an API key, write the prompts, host the output, manage credits, hook up a domain, and maintain it — go for it. We mean that.
What you're paying us for isn't the AI. The AI is commodity. What you're paying for is the boring stuff in between: hosting that doesn't fall over, billing that handles refunds, templates that actually look good, a custom domain that takes two clicks instead of fourteen, and the fact that you don't have to think about any of it ever again.
You'd also be paying with the most expensive currency you have: your weekend. Most freelancers bill more in a single hour than a year of Pro.
Is it actually under 60 seconds?
For a one-page landing, it's typically well under a minute from typed prompt to live URL. Multi-page site clones take longer — a few minutes — depending on how many pages you're cloning.
What's BYOK and why would I want it?
Bring Your Own Keys. You drop your Anthropic and OpenAI API keys into your account, and from then on every page you generate runs on your credit at those providers. Most people pay $5-15/mo in actual API spend instead of $49/mo for our credits.
BYOK is a $100/year add-on on top of any plan. It's free with any lifetime tier.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Top-up packs. 25/$15, 100/$49, 500/$199, 2000/$599. They never expire. Or upgrade your plan and you'll get more next month.
Can I edit the page after it's built?
Yes. Click any element and either edit it directly or tell us what to change in plain English ("make the headline more aggressive", "swap the green button for orange"). Edits cost 1 credit each. Re-generates from scratch cost 3.
Is the lifetime plan really lifetime?
Yes — and we mean lifetime of the product, not lifetime of you. Pay once, use forever, no monthly bill. BYOK and unlimited credits are bundled.
We're going to retire lifetime SKUs at some point this year. Buy one now if you want one.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on any paid plan. Two clicks. We handle SSL automatically.
Funnels — what does that actually do?
You give each step its own prompt — opt-in → sales page → upsell → thank-you — and we generate every page on the same engine that builds your single pages, then auto-link each page's call-to-action to the next step. The whole sequence is live and connected the moment it finishes.
Each step is its own page you can edit independently, and every step is hosted at its own /p/slug URL. Credits are charged per page, and a pre-flight check means a funnel never half-builds.
Can I host pages on my own server?
Yes, on Pro and up. Every page is hosted free at /p/slug by default, but you can connect your own cPanel server once (one encrypted API token) and push a clean static copy of any page to it in one click.
Where do form submissions go?
Every form on every page you generate routes to your primary destination: by default that's your account email, but you can connect Mailchimp, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, Beehiiv, Klaviyo, SendGrid, Resend, or any webhook. Submissions are also stored permanently in your account as a backup, regardless of forwarding.
Can I cancel?
Yeah, from your account page, instantly, no email-the-support form. Your pages stay live until the end of your paid period. Lifetime never cancels because there's nothing to cancel.

What AI models do you use?
Claude Sonnet for layout decisions and copy. Claude Opus for the harder reasoning steps in multi-page clones. OpenAI's gpt-image-2 for hero imagery when you don't supply your own — same key handles embeddings and structural classification too.
If you're on BYOK, you bring keys for Anthropic and OpenAI; image generation runs on the OpenAI key. Doesn't burn additional credits beyond the page generation itself.
Where are pages hosted?
On our infrastructure by default — your-slug.instantpages.ai. Connect your own domain on any paid plan; we handle SSL via Let's Encrypt automatically. CDN-fronted, no cold starts.
Can I export the HTML?
Yes. Pro and Studio plans include one-click HTML export — you get a clean ZIP of static files you can host anywhere (Netlify, Vercel, your own server). No vendor lock-in.
Does it work for multi-page sites?
Yes — site clones support up to 5 pages (10 credits) on Pro, more on Studio. Each page is generated with consistent branding and navigation.
Do you collect leads / handle forms?
Yes. Every page has form-capture built in. Submissions land in your back-office and can be exported to CSV or piped to Mailchimp / ConvertKit / Mailgun via webhook.
What's your refund policy?
14 days, no questions, full refund. Unused credits are refundable too within that window. Lifetime plans are 30-day refundable.
Are you the same team as TheSoftwareSystem?
Yes. InstantPages started life as a tool inside the TSS back-office and we're spinning it out into its own product. TSS members get the same tool inside their existing dashboard — no double-billing.
